We are lucky and proud to have Te Matau a Maui Hawke's Bay SUDI Prevention Team fund our weekend, so for you, that means you only need to get here. However, as seats are limited, we are asking for a $50 bond to confirm your seat. This will be refunded during the wānanga to those who attend. There will be no refund for those who did not attend (see terms and conditions below). All prices include GST and are in NZ dollars.

Terms and Conditions

Registration closes on Sunday 30 September 2023 at 11:59pm. Your bond payment will be refunded if you cancel your booking seven (7) days before this date. No refunds will be issued after that. During the wānanga you will be taught how to weave Wahakura Rīwā , a specific design of wahakura developed by Riwa Wawatai and owned by art by RIWA Limited. Upon the completion of the wānanga, art by RIWA Li

You may not weave Wahakura Rīwā or teach the specific methods and processes regarding the weaving of Wahakura Rīwā for commercial or on-sale purposes, without Riwa Wawatai and art by RIWA Limited’s written consen
